  Why Mr.Carlos Ghosn was kicked out of Nissan I saw this news interestingly. Renault open to Nissan pursuing merger talks with Honda, Bloomberg News reports https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/renault-open-nissan-pursuing-merger-talks-with-honda-bloomberg-news-reports-2024-12-18/ Mr.Carlos Ghosn might oppose to the merger with Honda and Nissan. Japan Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI) wanted to eliminate him. So he was arrested by Japan police. This is the reason why Mr.Carlos Ghosn was kicked out of Nissan. This is Japan, and this is the Japan.

  Can Authoritarian Democracy shift to Normal Democracy by Democracy? Background In Japan, Liberal Democratic Party(Jimin Party:自民党) has been in power for long years. I have one question, how can Authoritarian Democracy shift to Normal Democracy by Democracy? My opinion I think it is impossible. A lot of Japan people has much and deep angry to Jimin Party, but I think that it is impossible. Democracy has several weak points. When population is decreasing, Democracy does not work well. Further, aging society helps not to change the existing power. In fact, Japan cannot change the existing power by Democracy. My feeling I feel that Jimin Party irritates to USA, but Democracy cannot change Jimin Party. To mind up for unchangeable of Japan politics will cost very high for current and future Japan people. But it is the cost with Democracy. Conclusion There is no free lunch. Peace is not free lunch, nor Democracy is not free lunch. Peace and Democracy need high cost....

  “Double bind:Japan” I saw some news about Japan being double bind. USA or China… Of course, Japan can’t choose China. But Japan politics (mainly Jimin Party) seem to want to get insurance for emergency of USA. Emergency of USA… There are somethings, for example the end of US$, USA President Election, or fiscal budget expansion… I think that Japan gov concerns about USA’s future. If Japan gov doesn’t concern it, Japan gov will be more aggressive to China. But Japan gov doesn’t, so that it is signal for something bad information. 

  2024/4/28.  Physical information blockade in Japan I watched some news about physical information blockade in Japan. I thought that the news means Japan gov started to block information flow physically in Japan. Furthermore, Japan gov wants to control domestic information flow both of in/out. This is bad signal for almost all Japanese. Now, not many Japanese notice it, but if it reveals to mass-Japanese, the end may be near. In addition, Japan is consisted of many islands, so if submarine cables are cut and satellites are controlled by Japan gov, almost all Japanese can’t call to help to foreigners.

  2024/3/28.  Article 9 Article 9 of the Japan Constitution has been unchanged for over 70 years from WW2. Article 9 is written about abandonment of army. Regardless of the intentions of the U.S. government at that time, Japan people have keep on protecting Article 9. Liberal Democratic Party in Japan(Jimin party) have keep on staying at the center of Japan politics over 70 years from WW2. In other words, Jimin party have protected Article 9. In view of it, Jimin party won’t change Article 9. There may be national election in near future, but it doesn’t matter whether Jimin party wins or not about changing Article 9. If Jimin party wins, Article 9 won’t be changed. If Jimin party loses, next ruling party can’t change Article 9 because of weakness of political foundation.   2024/3/15.  Nissan and Honda I saw this news. Rivas Nissan and Honda sign MoU on EV partnership https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/honda-nissan-sign-mou-comprehensive-ev-cooperation-nhk-reports-2024-03-15/ This partnership looks alliance of the weak companies. In addition, I felt that Japan gov assisted for the partnership. I have thought to buy Nissan shares, but I stopped because I felt Nissan was not good to invest. Japan gov seems to prefer market oligopoly by 2 companies. For example, airlines for JAL and ANA, telecommunication for NTT and KDDI(Softbank is outsider). In view of the tendency, Japanese car companies will converge to TOYOTA and Nissan&Honda. 

  2024/3/14.  Car industry and Semiconductor in Japan I saw some news that foreign semiconductor companies will construct factories in Japan. I thought that these factories will be for Japan car industry. Recent Car industry needs a lot of semiconductors. It needs not faster semiconductors but many, so that Japan gov assisted to foreign semiconductor companies for Japan car industry. In addition, I hope foreign car industry will win to Japan car industry. The Japan gov’s assist seems to be not fair for the world.

  2021/8/24.  The before Japan political election  Liberal Democratic Party in Japan politics (Referred as Jimin Party) will propose economic measures before Japan political election. Jimin Party prefers to protect its seat as the first party, and people of Jimin Party know which Japanese company will get benefits from economic measures before proposing them. Is this insider’s deal? Outsiders can’t know which companies will raise their stock prices, but insiders know it.

2020/8/15.  The MMT MMT is Modern Monetary Theory, which means that Governments can print own money infinity, so they can print their bond infinity. (Of course, I don’t believe this.) India, Tajikistan, and Syria people are more interested in MMT than Japanese. Japan gov has huge debts, and it has printed a lot of bonds. So I see that Japanese are interested in MMT. But India, Tajikistan and Syria have more interested in MMT. What does this trend mean? I think that these 3 countries have wants to believe MMT. It means that their gov bonds are not good condition. Conversely, Italy may be far from gov default. Because EU and Euro currency will protect Italy gov.
