Why Mr.Carlos Ghosn was kicked out of Nissan I saw this news interestingly. Renault open to Nissan pursuing merger talks with Honda, Bloomberg News reports https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/renault-open-nissan-pursuing-merger-talks-with-honda-bloomberg-news-reports-2024-12-18/ Mr.Carlos Ghosn might oppose to the merger with Honda and Nissan. Japan Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI) wanted to eliminate him. So he was arrested by Japan police. This is the reason why Mr.Carlos Ghosn was kicked out of Nissan. This is Japan, and this is the Japan.
2020/3/1. The Works in patent office
I am working in patent office for 1 year, and I want to improve my working’s quality.
So opening what I do in it will be helpful for it.
I often translate English patents to Japanese patents.
And I introduce some of my works in below.
The patent is consisted from 4 parts, Claims, Description, Drawings and Abstract.
[Claims]「請求項」
This is most important part for the patent.
This determines the scope of the patent.
Claims is written by old language like the laws.
Claims often are consisted from short sentences.
Because short sentences cover bigger scope of the patents.
[Description]「明細書」
This is technical description for Claims.
Description helps understanding the Claims. (Claims often are difficult for understanding.)
Description is written by technical language like the technical papers.
[Drawings]「図面」
Drawings are the visual tools for the patents.
They often help us understanding the whole of the patents.
Patents are often divided by 2 kinds, technical patents and construction patents.
Technical patents:Variety of technical fields, such as IT, Chemical, Biochemical…
Construction patents: Objects which have the special features in them.
And construction patents are difficult to describe without drawings.
[Abstract]「要約」
This part is the abstract for the patent.
Abstract helps us when we search the patents by some keywords.
But it is only that.
I mean that Abstract has not so big power as the patents’ scope.
